Puppy introductory grooming

Service Description

The first grooming appointment can be pretty scary for a puppy. Add in painful if there is mating or knotted hair. There are lots of new experiences from maybe a first bath, the first time meeting a blow dryer and clippers with their crazy sounds and sensations, and the first time having nails trimmed. I certainly do not want a puppy to associate negative feelings with being groomed so we’re going to take it easy, have reasonable expectations for puppy behavior (wiggle, chewing on the groomer, pulling away from scissors and clippers) and therefore reasonable expectations for the outcome. This is a discounted service because I can’t and won’t guarantee perfection, though free follow-up touchups are always available.
