Policies

1. If you suspect your pet has fleas, you MUST notify us BEFORE bringing your pet in the shop. We must take your pet straight to the bath and if we are not ready at that moment, you will need to wait outside until we are ready. Treating the entire shop for fleas costs nearly $300 and requires closing down for at least 24 hours. It's obviously a large expense and huge inconvenience to other customers when appointments must be rescheduled but must be done to prevent infesting other homes with fleas. Fleas should be treated prior to grooming by a vet or with topical medication available at Walmart or Tractor Supply. Flea baths are not a substitute for flea treatment.

2.  No-shows are required to pay full price for the rescheduled appointment after missing an appointment without (24 hours prior) notice. When in doubt, reach out! We understand that life happens and can make exceptions; however, staffing is currently based on appointment schedules. In order to keep our prices as low as possible, we need 24 hour notice in order to fill canceled appointments! Thank you!

3. Late Pickup. There will be a $20/hour up-charge on any service when the pet is not picked up before close of business and $5/hour when pickup is delayed during regular business hours.

4.Saturday appointments are charged an additional 15% due to the high demand and limited availability.

5. We do NOT shave dogs with fur (as in shedding breeds with the exception of fur/ hair breed mixes with improper coats) as it will eventually damage the coat and/ or cause alopecia (bald patches). It's our policy to provide care for your pet with their best interest in mind.
